National Development and Reform Commission: Effectively filling the supply-demand gap and structural shortcomings in the development of inclusive childcare services during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.

At the press conference of the National Development and Reform Commission in August, Li Chao, deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the NDRC and the spokesperson of the commission, introduced that the NDRC, together with the National Health Commission, has formulated the "Notice on Advancing the Development of Inclusive Childcare Services as a Whole in Cities", which will guide local areas to comprehensively analyze the number and distribution of infants and young children of suitable ages, scientifically assess the demand structure and resource allocation of childcare services, systematically plan construction projects and policy lists within the scope of the entire city and over a period of five years, effectively bridging the supply and demand gap and structural weaknesses in the development of inclusive childcare services during the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" period.
