On August 29th, at the press conference of the State Development and Reform Commission in August, Huo Fupeng, the director of the Innovation Driven Development Center of the State Development and Reform Commission, answered questions from reporters on the "Artificial Intelligence +" action and its relevance to people's lives. Recently, the State Development and Reform Commission submitted to the State Council for issuance the "Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the 'Artificial Intelligence +' Action", focusing on the coordinated advancement of industry application demand and basic capability supply, carrying out six major actions including scientific and technological development, industrial development, improvement of consumption, improvement of people's welfare, security governance, and global cooperation under the "Artificial Intelligence +" initiative, and focusing on models, data, computing power, applications, open source, talent, policies and regulations, and security. The goal is to systematically build the artificial intelligence basic support system, promote the widespread and deep integration of artificial intelligence in various fields and industries in the economic and social sectors, and explore a development path for Chinese characteristics in artificial intelligence. Huo Fupeng said that "Artificial Intelligence +" is not only the frontier direction of technological development, but also related to the real concerns of the people. Currently, artificial intelligence is increasingly integrating into all aspects of production and life, empowering various industries and benefiting thousands of households. The document proposes key actions such as "Artificial Intelligence + improvement of people's welfare" and "Artificial Intelligence + improvement of consumption quality", many of which are closely related to people's lives. Specifically, this is reflected in the following four "mores". Firstly, work methods become more intelligent. Secondly, education and learning become more efficient. Thirdly, life quality becomes better. Fourthly, consumption structure becomes more optimized.
