Analyst: Short-term reasons for the increase in oil prices are diminishing.

Analyst John Evans of oil broker PVM said, "The US bank holiday this weekend marks the end of driving season, and gasoline demand has not reached the expected level. The short-term reasons for bullish oil prices are diminishing." He also pointed out that Russia has restarted crude oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia via the Friendship pipeline, further increasing the downward pressure on oil prices.
