Italy reiterates: will not participate in the multinational troops deployed in Ukraine.

On August 28th local time, after a cabinet meeting, the Italian government issued a statement reiterating that Italy will not participate in the deployment of multinational forces in Ukraine. They will only consider implementing military training and other actions outside of Ukraine after the conflict has ended. The Italian cabinet meeting believes that recent peace negotiations surrounding the Russia-Ukraine conflict are key to ensuring Ukraine's security, and Italy will continue to collaborate with the United States and European countries.
