In the first half of the year, CNOOC continued to promote increased reserves and production, with fruitful results in oil and gas exploration. During the reporting period, the company made 5 new discoveries and successfully evaluated 18 oil and gas structures. In the Chinese waters, new discoveries such as Jinzhou 27-6, Caofeidian 22-3, and Weizhou 10-5 South were made, and oil and gas structures such as Qinhuangdao 29-6 and Lingshui 25-1 were successfully evaluated. Overseas, the company actively expanded its presence in strategic key areas, with continued reserve growth in Guyana's deepwater exploration, the signing of a petroleum contract for new exploration blocks in Kazakhstan, and further exploration potential expansion overseas.
