Isidoro Gomes, the CEO of the Cape Verde postal company, announced on August 27th that from the 29th, Cape Verde will temporarily stop sending packages worth more than $100 to the United States. Gomes explained that this decision was made because the United States has cancelled its "low-value duty-free" policy. Previously, this policy allowed goods worth less than $800 to enter the United States duty-free.
