The two-year US Treasury yield fell more than 5 basis points.
On Wednesday, the closing session in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury fell by 2.52 basis points to 4.2362%, rising to 4.2887% at 20:41 Beijing time to hit a daily high. Prior to that, it had been trading narrowly higher before significantly declining. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury dropped by 5.60 basis points to 3.6229%, remaining in decline all day, hitting a daily high at 14:33 of 3.6618% before rapidly declining. The 2/10-year US Treasury yield spread increased by 3.279 basis points to +61.328 basis points, with a "gap up" rebound shortly after 10:00, followed by continued high volatility.
