Recently, Zhang Zhili, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, met with Santos, Global Head of Crop Science at Bayer, in Beijing. Zhang Zhili stated that China always considers ensuring food security as a top priority in agricultural work, continuously improving grain production capacity, promoting high-quality agricultural development, enhancing agricultural resource utilization efficiency, and accelerating comprehensive green transformation in agriculture. This will provide broader opportunities for Bayer and other foreign agricultural enterprises to grow and operate in China. China will steadfastly promote high-level opening up of agriculture, facilitate agricultural investment and trade, and create a favorable environment for foreign enterprises to thrive in China.
