NVIDIA announced that its data center revenue of $41 billion fell short of the expected $41.3 billion, causing its stock price to drop. Although revenue exceeded expectations, traders were already accustomed to this. NVIDIA stated that it expects revenue for this quarter to be $54 billion, 2% higher or lower than the expected $53.46 billion. The unclear performance may reflect sales uncertainty. NVIDIA has approved a $60 billion stock buyback plan, which should at least provide some relief.
