Hongkang Life Insurance has recently become the fourth largest shareholder of Sunong Bank.

The semi-annual report for the year 2025 disclosed by Sunong Bank shows that "Hongkang Life Insurance Co., Ltd. - Self-owned" has newly entered the top four shareholders of the bank, holding over 100 million shares, with a shareholding ratio of 4.95%, close to the triggering threshold for a takeover bid.
