Biden said the Fed chairman candidate "definitely" will be announced in the golden autumn.

United States Treasury Secretary Scott Bennington said in an interview that there are currently 11 "very strong" candidates for the Federal Reserve Chairman, and he will begin interviewing them next month. Bennington said they will also be interviewed by other White House officials, and three to four outstanding candidates will be recommended to President Trump. Bennington also stated that Trump knows some of these 11 individuals, but not all. He also said that the Federal Reserve Chairman selection will "definitely" be announced in the fall of this year.
