Minister of Science and Technology, Yin Hejun visits Macao to promote innovation cooperation in science and technology between mainland China and Macao.

Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun led a delegation to visit Macau on August 26-27, 2025, to promote the coordinated development of science and technology innovation between the mainland and Macau. Minister Yin Hejun exchanged views with Macau Chief Executive Ho Hau Wai on topics such as expanding science and technology cooperation between the mainland and Macau, supporting Macau's better integration into the national development framework, and promoting moderate and diversified economic development in Macau. They also awarded certificates to the national key laboratories in Macau after reorganization; and held discussions with presidents of Macau's relevant universities and leaders of national key laboratories. Minister Yin Hejun emphasized that national key laboratories are an important part of the country's strategic technology force, and encouraged the national key laboratories in Macau to actively integrate into the national innovation system and promote scientific and technological innovation to empower the economic and social development of Macau.
