Amazon (AMZN.US) invests 570 million US dollars in setting up satellite internet in Vietnam, competing head-to-head with SpaceX.

According to the Securities Times app, the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam announced that Amazon (AMZN.US) plans to deploy the Kuiper satellite service in Vietnam. The statement was released after a meeting in Hanoi between Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Government Tran Van Tung and Gonzalo de Dios, Global Authorization and Project Manager of Amazon Kuiper.
