The passenger vehicle new energy market sold 727,000 vehicles nationwide from August 1st to 24th, an increase of 6% year-on-year.

According to the China Passenger Car Association, from August 1-24, the national retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles reached 727,000 units, an increase of 6% compared to the same period last year, and a 7% increase compared to the previous month. The market penetration rate of new energy passenger vehicles in China reached 56.6%, with a total retail sales of 7.182 million units so far this year, a 27% increase compared to the same period last year. During the same period, the national wholesale of new energy passenger vehicles by manufacturers reached 711,000 units, an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year, and a 3% increase compared to the previous month. The penetration rate of new energy passenger vehicles wholesaled by manufacturers in China reached 53%, with a total wholesale of 8.345 million units so far this year, a 33% increase compared to the same period last year.
