Turkey initiates anti-circumvention investigation on non-woven fabrics and synthetic leather from China.

On August 26, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Circular No. 2025/24, stating that an anti-circumvention investigation has been initiated on polyurethane non-woven fabric products weighing over 150 grams per square meter and synthetic leather weighing over 150 grams per square meter originating from China. The investigation will examine whether the products in question have been transshipped through the United Arab Emirates, Italy, and Egypt to Turkey in order to circumvent anti-dumping duties.
