Closing of the Japanese and South Korean stock markets.

The Nikkei 225 index closed up 125.87 points, an increase of 0.30%, at 42,520.27 points. The TOPIX index closed down 0.1% at 3,069.74 points. The South Korean KOSPI index rose 0.25% to 3,187.16 points.
