Rio Tinto announces operational model and senior management team adjustments.

On August 27th, Rio Tinto Group announced the launch of a new operating model and executive team. Starting today, Rio Tinto will streamline its product team structure and integrate it into three major business units: iron ore, aluminum and lithium, and copper. Rio Tinto Group stated that the iron ore product team will integrate all iron ore businesses under Rio Tinto Group, led by Matthew Holcz; the lithium business will be merged into the aluminum product team, led by Jrme Pcresse; Katie Jackson will continue to lead the copper business.
