On August 27th local time, a passenger bus overturned on a highway connecting the Afghan capital Kabul with the southern Kandahar province, resulting in at least 26 deaths and multiple injuries. The accident occurred in the Algoodi area on the outskirts of Kabul. At the time, the bus was traveling from Kandahar to Kabul.
