Geely announces patents related to satellite connectivity.

According to the Qichacha APP, recently, the patents for "method and device for accessing satellites, terminal equipment" applied by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd and Zhejiang Space-time Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd have been published. The patent abstract shows that this application discloses a method and device for accessing satellites, terminal equipment, where the method is applied to terminal equipment and includes: determining candidate ground stations based on the distance between the terminal equipment and the ground stations around it, where the coverage area of the candidate ground stations includes the coverage area of the terminal equipment; selecting a target ground station from the candidate ground stations; and connecting the terminal equipment to the satellite accessed by the target ground station.
