Typhoon "Swordfish" has killed 3 people and injured 47 in Vietnam. Many houses and farmland have been flooded.
On August 27th local time, the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention in Vietnam issued an announcement stating that as of 7 a.m. on the 27th, Typhoon "Mun" had caused 3 deaths, 5 people missing, and 47 injuries in Vietnam. 17 houses collapsed, over 30,000 houses had damaged roofs, nearly 4,000 houses were flooded; more than 90,000 hectares of rice fields and 10,000 hectares of other crops were submerged and destroyed; over 3,000 electric poles fell, over 48,000 meters of power lines were affected, and over 750,000 electricity customers experienced power outages. Currently, various regions are organizing post-disaster recovery work and continuing to tally the loss data.
