Wind data shows that as of August 25, the total ETF market size has exceeded 5 trillion Yuan for the first time, reaching 5.07 trillion Yuan. There are over 100 ETFs with assets over 100 billion Yuan, with the largest one exceeding 400 billion Yuan. Looking back at the development of the ETF market size, from the first ETF product in December 2004, to the total ETF assets exceeding 5 trillion Yuan. The time it takes for each trillion Yuan milestone to be reached is getting shorter: the first trillion took nearly 16 years, the second trillion took nearly 3 years, the third trillion took about 13 months, the fourth trillion took about 7 months, and the fifth trillion milestone was reached in just over 4 months.
