On Tuesday (August 26), the New York spot gold rose 0.76% to $3391.35 per ounce at the closing bell. At 08:00 Beijing time, there was a significant rally, with prices rising from around $3350 to above $3385. COMEX gold futures rose 0.65% to $3439.60 per ounce, trading between $3396.10 and $3440.80 during the day. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up 1.94% at 244.06 points, setting a new record high.
