U.S. stock three major indexes open low and go high, large-cap technology stocks rise and fall unevenly.

The three major US stock indexes closed higher, with the Nasdaq up 0.44%, the S&P 500 up 0.41%, and the Dow up 0.30%. Large-cap tech stocks had mixed performance, with AMD up over 2%, NVIDIA and Tesla up over 1%, Apple up about 1%, Meta and Amazon slightly up, while Microsoft, Intel, and Google saw slight declines. The Nasdaq 100 index preliminarily closed up 0.4%, with component stocks Applovin up 4.2%, Palantir up 3%, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Microstrategy, the "Bitcoin Holdings Giant" Strategy, and Cisco up at least 2%, Adobe down 1.9%, Warner Bros. Discovery down 2.1%, Atlassian down 2.5%, Charter Communications down 2.6%, Pinduoduo ADR down 3.5%, and KDP down 6.2%.
