Medium and long-term supply and demand are tight, and glyphosate prices continue to rise.
Since May this year, the price of glyphosate has continued to rise. According to data from Zhongnong Lihua, as of August 24th, domestic demand for glyphosate original drugs has increased, with export orders waiting to be delivered. Market expectations are for a slight increase, with prices quoted at 27,500 RMB per ton for 95% concentration and 28,000 RMB per ton for 97% concentration, representing an increase of about 20% since early May. From a supply and demand perspective, data from Bai Chuan Yingfu shows that as of August 24th, the weekly production of glyphosate was 8,600 tons, an increase of 18.71% from the previous week. The weekly inventory of glyphosate was 27,800 tons, a decrease of 0.07 thousand tons from the previous week. It is worth noting that despite a significant increase in production, inventory continues to decline, reflecting a continued tight supply situation and strong price support in the future.
