The damaged sections of the Beijing-Chengde Railway are being repaired at an accelerated pace, with 47 water-damaged sites already restored.

Since the flood season this year, Xinglong County, Chengde, Hebei Province has suffered from flooding disasters. Several sections of the Beijing-Chengde railway have been destroyed by floods, with some railway tracks collapsing and the line suspended. It is reported that this flood disaster has caused a total of 119 water damages in the Chengde section of the Beijing-Chengde railway, including 3 bridges under construction. In addition, some sections of the railway's barriers and signal cables are also being rebuilt. Luo Chengzhi, an engineer from the China Railway Beijing Bureau's station project management department, stated that over 740 emergency response personnel and 166 sets of large machinery have been mobilized. Currently, 9.5 kilometers of roads have been repaired, and 47 flood-damaged areas have been restored.
