Beijing: Promote the pre-research layout of 6G in industry scenarios, and explore commercial landing paths.

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and the Beijing Municipal Communication Administration have issued the "Beijing City Implementation Plan for Innovative Development of '5G+ Industrial Internet'", which proposes strengthening the application of technological innovation. It supports leading enterprises to focus on industrial manufacturing, connected vehicles, medical health, and other key industry sectors to carry out application verification of technologies and products based on 5G high reliability, low latency, lightweight, wide connectivity, high speed, and integration of sensing capabilities, promoting the practical evolution and upgrade of industrial 5G network enhanced features. Key support is given to the large-scale application of industrial wireless, industrial Ethernet, edge computing, information models, deterministic networks, industrial computing power, open automation, industrial data interoperability, and other technologies in key industry sectors. The plan also advances preliminary research and layout of 6G in industry scenarios and explores commercial deployment paths.
