China Petroleum: The net profit in the first half of the year decreased by 5.4% year-on-year. It plans to distribute a mid-term dividend of 0.22 yuan per share for 2025.

China Petroleum disclosed its semi-annual report for the year 2025 on the evening of August 26th. According to International Financial Reporting Standards, the company achieved operating income of 1,450.99 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year decrease of 6.7%; net profit attributable to equity holders was 84.007 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.4%; basic earnings per share were 0.46 yuan. The board of directors decided to distribute a mid-year dividend of 0.22 yuan per share for the year 2025 based on the total share capital of 183.021 billion shares as of June 30, 2025. The decrease in operating income compared to the same period last year was mainly due to the combined impact of the decrease in crude oil and refined oil prices and changes in the sales volume of oil and gas products.
