Chinese company signs contract for Chilean railway project.

The signing ceremony of the Chile Batuco Railway Project, undertaken by China Railway Construction Corporation, was held on the 25th in Lampa city, Santiago, the capital region of Chile. The Batuco Railway Project is located in the northern part of the capital region of Chile and has a total length of 24 kilometers. The contract signed this time includes the construction of a new passenger line connecting the cities of Quintero and Batuco in this region, 6 stations, 6 railway bridges, as well as the repair and renovation of the existing freight railway line. The project will use electric trains manufactured in China.
