Shanghai: The size of foreign trade in July was nearly 400 billion yuan, an increase of 9.5% year-on-year.

According to Shanghai Customs, in July, the total import and export volume of Shanghai reached 397.24 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 9.5%. This marks the sixth consecutive month of growth since February this year. With the strong performance in July, the total import and export volume of Shanghai in the first seven months of the year reached 2.55 trillion yuan, showing a growth of 3.4% compared to the same period last year, with an increase of 1 percentage point compared to the first half of the year. Among them, exports totaled 1.12 trillion yuan, a growth of 10.7%, while imports totaled 1.43 trillion yuan, a decrease of 1.7%.
