American energy company Centrus signed an agreement with South Korea's Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Company and Doosan Heavy Industries to strengthen cooperation in the civilian nuclear energy sector.

On August 25th local time, the American energy company Centrus Energy issued a statement saying that the company had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Company and Doosan International to explore potential investments to support its expansion plans for the uranium enrichment plant located in Piketon, Ohio. Centrus stated in the announcement that the agreement aims to deepen cooperation between the United States and South Korea in the field of civilian nuclear energy.
