According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, in the first half of this year, 8,155 national-level traditional villages and 5,028 provincial-level traditional villages attracted more than 293 million visitors. Various regions are promoting the protection and utilization of traditional villages, developing industries such as leisure tourism and cultural creativity, and stimulating the endogenous development of rural areas.
