A Turkish Bursa-1 training aircraft made a forced landing in a reservoir, with both people on board safely escaping.
On August 25th local time, in the Bujak District of Bolu Province, Turkey, at the Karagl Lake in Karaaac Elren Dam, a training plane belonging to the Forestry General Directorate was conducting a forest firefighting exercise and needed to scoop water from the lake. However, the plane was unable to take off smoothly again during the water scooping process, forcing it to make an emergency landing on the water surface. After the accident, local authorities quickly dispatched multiple rescue teams. The government of Bolu Province stated that there were two pilots on board, one Turkish and one Spanish. With the assistance of local fishing boats, both pilots were safely rescued and taken to the hospital for examination.
