Tencent announced that repair services for the Chinese version of the Nintendo Switch and its related accessories will be discontinued on December 31, 2026.

Tencent's official Nintendo Switch account announced that Nintendo Switch units in mainland China will no longer receive repair services for the console, accessories, and games after December 31, 2026. It was also mentioned that mainland China Nintendo Switch had announced that they will gradually phase out the Nintendo eShop and other related online services from March 31, 2026 to May 15, 2026. As a gesture of gratitude towards players for their continued support, a "Thank You Plan" was launched in November 2024, allowing mainland China Nintendo Switch users to receive up to 4 free download codes for Nintendo games or software tools. The plan will end on March 31, 2026, and eligible users are advised to claim their codes as soon as possible.
