Journalists learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that on the 24th, the Ministry of Water Resources initiated a level IV emergency response for flood control in Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan provinces, and dispatched two working groups to Guangdong and Hainan to assist in guiding typhoon and flood control work. Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 13 "Swordfish", it is expected that from the 24th to the 26th, there will be heavy rain to heavy storms in the central and western parts of Guangdong, the western and southern parts of Guangxi, and most parts of Hainan; Changhua River, Wanquan River, Nandu River in Hainan, as well as rivers along the coast of eastern Guangdong and southern Guangxi, will experience significant water level rises, with some rivers in the heavy rain area possibly experiencing floods above the alert level.
