Zhitong Finance and Economics APP News, China Railway Construction Corporation (601390.SH) announced that around 3:10 on August 22, 2025, the leading end of the auxiliary steel beam of the cable tower erected by the full subsidiary China Railway Bridge Bureau Group Co., Ltd. for the construction of the Jiezhazhen Huanghe Bridge in the Qinghai section of the Chuanqing Railway suddenly broke, resulting in 12 deaths and 4 missing persons so far. After the accident, the company and China Railway Bridge Bureau Group Co., Ltd. immediately activated the emergency response plan, and relevant personnel rushed to the scene for emergency rescue operations and investigations in cooperation with government departments. Currently, emergency rescue and related investigations are being carried out in an orderly manner, while the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
