Nuclear power stock SMR US stocks rose more than 1.4% after hours, reports suggest the Trump administration is considering supplying plutonium to the nuclear power industry as during the Cold War.
NEX, a concept stock of nuclear power, fell 1.55% after trading hours in the US stock market. D fell 0.36%, VST rose 0.28%, DNN rose 0.47%, CEG rose 0.80%, UEC rose 0.85%, NNE rose 0.93%, SMR rose 1.44%, and LEU rose 2.42%. Reuters reported, citing sources and a draft memo, that the Trump administration plans to provide approximately 200,000 tons of plutonium from the Cold War era to numerous power companies to help them generate power using nuclear reactors.
