This drop occurred after Federal Reserve Chairman Powell's speech, causing the dollar to instantly drop from above 148.50 yen to below 147 yen. The dollar has fallen by a total of 0.17% this week, showing an overall M-shaped trend. The euro rose by 0.99% against the US dollar to reach 1.1721, with a weekly increase of 0.15%. The British pound also rose by 0.86% against the US dollar to reach 1.3527, with a weekly decline of 0.19%, almost completely recovering from the decline seen from Monday to Thursday. The US dollar also fell by 0.92% against the Swiss franc, reaching 0.8015, with a weekly decrease of 0.66%.
