The offshore Renminbi against the US Dollar rose 109 points compared to the New York closing on Thursday.

The offshore Chinese yuan against the US dollar was reported at 7.1719 yuan, up 109 points from the New York closing on Thursday, trading within a range of 7.1897-7.1666 yuan throughout the day.
