Hong Kong held a ceremony to award the "80th Anniversary Commemorative Medal of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War Victory".

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government held a ceremony on the 22nd to present the "80th Anniversary Commemorative Medal for the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression." In order to recognize the living veterans and heroes who have participated in the war of resistance in Hong Kong, as well as the descendants of war heroes, the SAR government presented them with commemorative medals awarded by the country to promote the spirit of the war of resistance, deepen society's understanding of history, and foster patriotism.
