A Nigerien bus fell into a river in Benin, resulting in the death of 43 people.

On August 21st local time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Nigeriens Abroad of Niger released a statement saying that on August 17th, a bus belonging to a private passenger transport company in Niger crashed into a bridge railing in Benin and fell into the river, resulting in 43 deaths.
