China Charging Alliance: From January to July, the increase in charging infrastructure compared to the same period last year has risen by 93.2%.

According to the announcement released by the China Charging Alliance on August 22, by the end of July 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in China reached 16.696 million, an increase of 53% compared to the previous year. Among them, there were 4.202 million public charging facilities, an increase of 38% year-on-year; and 12.494 million private charging facilities, an increase of 58.8% year-on-year. From January to July 2025, the increment of charging infrastructure was 3.878 million, an increase of 93.2% compared to the previous year. The increment of public charging facilities was 0.623 million, an increase of 28.9%, and the increment of private charging facilities was 3.255 million, an increase of 113.6%. By the end of July 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in China reached 16.696 million, an increase of 53.0% compared to the previous year.
