According to Choicest Finance APP, European natural gas prices are expected to increase for the first time in three weeks. The reason is that people's initial optimism about US President Trump's efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war is fading. On Friday, benchmark futures prices rose slightly, with prices expected to increase by about 8% this week. Earlier, prices had fallen to their lowest level in a year due to market expectations of a possible peace agreement. However, Russia's demand for a say in Ukraine's security issues and its claims to territorial ownership highlight the difficulty of reaching an agreement. As of the time of writing, Dutch TTF natural gas monthly futures rose by 1.1% to 33.55 euros per megawatt-hour.
