The South Korean yield curve is rising.
In Friday afternoon trading, the yield on South Korean sovereign bonds of all maturities rose.
The 1-year yield increased by 0.5 basis points to 2.32%.
The 10-year yield increased by 1.6 basis points to 2.861%.
The 30-year yield increased by 1.8 basis points to 2.766%.
The spread between the 3-year and 10-year government bonds was 40.5 basis points, compared to 40.7 basis points at the previous trading day's close.
The KOSPI index on the Korea Exchange rose by 0.9%.
Over the past year, the Bloomberg South Korean Government Bond Index increased by 4.5%. During the same period, the KOSPI index rose by 17%.
