Closing bell in the Japanese and Korean stock markets

The Nikkei 225 Index rose by 0.05% to close at 42,633.29 points. The TOPIX Index closed up by 0.6% at 3,100.87. The South Korean KOSPI Index rose by 0.88% to 3,169.46 points.
