According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on August 22, the "200 Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" was 115.53, a decrease of 0.04 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 115.93, a decrease of 0.04 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 20.10 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday; beef was 65.11 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; lamb was 59.54 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday; eggs were 7.67 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from yesterday; and broiler chicken was 17.59 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.84 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday; and the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 6.82 yuan/kg, down 1.6% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 22.25 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday; carp was 15.42 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from yesterday; white carp was 10.08 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 39.13 yuan/kg, down 3.4% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with the largest price increase compared to yesterday are pineapples, white radishes, lettuce, broiler chicken, and leeks, with increases of 2.0%, 1.8%, 1.4%, 0.6%, and 0.4% respectively; and the top five with the largest price decrease are Kyoho grapes, bighead carp, spinach, Chinese cabbage, and cauliflower, with decreases of 4.3%, 3.4%, 3.3%, 2.8%, and 2.6% respectively.
