Xiaomi's new patent for its electric car can improve charging safety and battery life.

According to the Qichacha app, Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. recently announced the "charging control method, device, storage medium, and charging equipment". The patent abstract on Qichacha shows that this invention relates to the field of charging equipment technology. The method includes: using multiple sample calibration parameters corresponding to the target vehicle to obtain a target current calibration table. Each sample calibration parameter includes sample charging parameters and the corresponding sample calibration current. The calibration accuracy of each sample calibration current meets predetermined accuracy conditions. During the charging process of the target vehicle, the target current calibration table is queried based on the target charging parameters of the target vehicle in order to obtain a more accurate target calibration current. The charging equipment is then controlled to charge the target vehicle with the target calibration current as the output target, in order to output a more accurate current, improve the safety of charging, charging speed of the battery, and the battery's lifespan.
