Google on Thursday announced the launch of the new Gemini government platform developed in partnership with the US General Services Administration. The product supports President Trump's AI action plan and a government strategy of the GSA. Priced at less than $0.5 per user per year for each agency, the suite includes enterprise search, image and video generation, NotebookLM, and customizable AI agents. Google stated that this move builds upon early Workspace discounts, aiming to modernize public services through certified cloud and AI solutions. Gemini was recently added to the GSA's procurement list, alongside ChatGPT and Claude.
