A tornado occurred in Shenyang, Liaoning province, with 6 people sustaining minor injuries.

On August 21st, around 21:00, Liaoning Shenyang Liaozhong District Yangshibao Town was hit by severe convective weather, causing power outages in some areas of Yangshibao Town and Lengzibao Town. In Yangshibao Town, the rooftops of houses in Yangqian, Yanghou, and Xiabaizi villages were blown off, as well as plastic film on agricultural greenhouses. Preliminary information indicates that 6 people suffered minor injuries and have been sent to receive medical treatment, with no casualties due to natural disasters. Due to the lack of power at the scene, it will take some time to verify the extent of the damage. Currently, efforts are being made by the power, transportation, and emergency rescue departments to carry out relief operations.
