The State Council has approved in principle the "Plan for the Open and Innovative Development of the Full Biomedical Industry Chain in China Free Trade Zones".

Recently, the State Council issued a reply on the "Plan for the Open and Innovative Development of the Entire Biomedical Industry Chain in China Pilot Free Trade Zone," agreeing in principle to the plan. The implementation of the plan should be guided by Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, deeply implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the second and third plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, adhere to the general principle of seeking progress while ensuring stability, fully implement the new development concept accurately and comprehensively, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, solidly promote high-quality development, better coordinate development and security, take high-level opening as the guide, and institutional innovation as the core, carry out pioneering and integrated explorations, promote integrated innovation and development of the entire biomedical industry chain, and build the China Pilot Free Trade Zone into a globally influential biomedical industry gathering place and a more internationally competitive biomedical innovation development highland.
