Hong Kong stocks closed with the Hang Seng Index falling by 0.24% and the Hang Seng Technology Index dropping by 0.77%. The Hong Kong technology ETF (159751) decreased by 0.97% and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) decreased by 0.58%. In terms of sectors, the biotechnology and durable consumer goods sectors led the gains, while the aerospace and defense, and diversified REIT sectors saw the biggest declines. In terms of individual stocks, Great Wall Motors rose by 6.45%, SMIC International rose by 6.25%, CRRC Corporation rose by 5.85%, Great Wall Motors-R rose by 5.84%, ZTE Corporation rose by 5.38%, Coron Bio-Tech-B rose by 5.29%, and Sino Biopharmaceutical rose by 4.91%; Huizhou Tencent Technology fell by 15.19%, Fiberhome Telecommunication Technologies fell by 15.29%; Crystal International rose by 12.66%, and Ping An Good Doctor rose by 11.37%.
